vivid prince
future nature
it all began with a simple question: is vivid prince a character i play, or is he just a reflection of who i am? this ep is a blend of machine and human, meaning vivid prince and i are basically one and the same, an artificial persona built entirely from my own real life experiences rather than a fictional story.
these seven songs bring together acoustic instruments, nostalgic synths, and my own voice to build a story. each track acts as a piece of myself, showing different emotions and contradictions that make up who i am right now.
that being said, i hope you enjoy future nature
Lyrics
for the love of everyone
i wanna show you my heart
i really hope that you dont mind
cause its all i have to show
welcome to my world
welcome to my world
nowhere left to hide
welcome to my world
welcome to my world
welcome to my world
nowhere left to hide
welcome to my world
Lyrics
all this time i never thought
that i could ever feel like this
cross my heart and hope to die
now my heart is yours to break
hold on to me and take me up to cloud nine
hold on to me and take me up to cloud nine
hold on to me and take me up to cloud nine
hold on to me and take me up to cloud nine
hold on to me and take me up to cloud nine
hold on to me and take me up to cloud nine
hold on to me and take me up to cloud nine
hold on to me and take me up to cloud nine
cause without you i wouldnt know where to go
without you...
Lyrics
i used to think that i was wrong for that
but now i see that its alright, its okay
if only i could make you understand
but baby, things dont go as they were planned
only if i leave you i can get what i was waiting for
i dont think you know it but theres nothing else we could have done
if its over, all i really know is what i need right now, oh well
i just wanna dance, i dont care where my tears went
where my tears went
i just wanna know if this is how it all ends
how it all ends
i dont know it all, but
i can feel all the sunlight
while i dance on my own for now
i just wanna dance
cause it might be my last chance
i just wanna know
why love has to hurt when you do the most
you were all i needed
i know well where you headed
but to love you have to let go
i just wanna dance, i dont care where my tears went
where my tears went
i just wanna know if this is how it all ends
how it all ends
i dont know it all, but
i can feel all the sunlight
while i dance on my own for now
but to love,
but to love,
you have to let go
Lyrics
ya, ya se que no estas
ya que mas da si tu ya no estas
puedo sentirte
incluso en tu ausencia
pensando en irme
aun tengo fe
ya no quedaron los recuerdos de ayer
ya no quedaron los recuerdos de ayer
se que ahora soy un extrano
pero yo te amo, pero yo te amo
y si tu amor fue lo que fue
pues tomalo y hazlo mi fin
ya no quedaron los recuerdos de ayer
ya no quedaron los recuerdos de ayer
ya no quedaron los recuerdos de ayer
ya no quedaron los recuerdos de ayer
Lyrics
i can feel it underneath
all the pain you wanna hide
i can feel it on my skin
theres something you dont wanna say
baby you regret it now?
i bet you see me so naive
baby where you tryna go?
i think that i have had enough
but if you want forgiveness
then you should try to change it
all i really wanna do
is get myself out of this
boy dont lie to me like that
b...b...b...boy dont lie to me like that
no dont try to be like that
n...n...n...no dont try to be like that
boy dont lie to me like that
b...b...b...boy dont lie to me like that
no now theres no turning back
n...n...n...no now theres no turning back
i can tell by now everything is done
bet youre gonna miss everything i was
i can tell you now, tell you what i feel
i can see it through your words but you know you cant just break my heart
boy dont lie to me like that
b...b...b...boy dont lie to me like that
no dont try to be like that
n...n...n...no dont try to be like that
boy dont lie to me like that
b...b...b...boy dont lie to me like that
no now theres no turning back
n...n...n...no now theres no turning back
boy dont lie to me like that
b...b...b...boy dont lie to me like that
no dont try to be like that
n...n...n...no dont try to be like that
boy dont lie to me like that
b...b...b...boy dont lie to me like that
no now theres no turning back
n...n...n...no now theres no turning back
Lyrics
i dont really care about anything now
im feeling so high melting into the sky, sky
i dont really care about anything now
im feeling so high melting into the sky, sky
Lyrics
i used to believe in happy endings, yeah
but maybe things are never meant to last
its only when youre next to me i can breathe
so i want you to stay by my side
give me a sign of true love
open up your heart to love
give me a sign of true love
open up your heart to love
dont be afraid to lose someone,
i will keep you in my heart,
right in my heart
if i ever have to go,
all my love will stay with you,
will stay with you
give me a sign of true love
open up your heart to love
give me a sign of true love
open up your heart to love
theres so many people i wanna thank, not only for helping me finish this project, but for keeping me sane while all these ideas were developing in my head lol.
first off, shoutout to nao for helping me develop the whole concept of turning the album into a keychain... youre literally the prettiest butterfly.
to my friends all across the world: you guys rock. having you guys here to celebrate this means everything to me. whether youre right here in my city, scattered across the country, or somewhere far away and we just happened to connect online... you guys really mean the world to me.
and most importantly id also like to thank YOU. youre the reason i keep trying to do my best, so thank you so much for listening.
